**TITLE**:Quality Assurance Associate**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Identifies NCs and initiates NCRs or NCOs when deviations in the materials, inspections, products, documentation, or procedures are found.
- Identifies gaps in the QMS, develops and drives cross-function implementation of corrective/preventative actions and improvements.
- Collaborates with cross-functional team to investigate the NCs for root causes and to identify and complete appropriate correction, corrective, or preventive actions.
- Prepares, supports, and participates in quality and regulatory audits, assuring readiness.
- Responsible in FPY (First Pass Yield) system coordination, reporting and closures. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in the FPY Log.
- Provides training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Generates and reviews DHR (Device History Record) package for customers and ensures accurate completion in a timely manner.
- Ensures the accurate status labeling and disposition of incoming materials, in-process materials, and products throughout the Operations area.
- Reviews and updates the inspection criteria to support the Quality Control (QC) inspections.
- Performs incoming, in-process, final, extraordinary and MFA (Manufacturing First Article) inspections of materials, components, assemblies and products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identifies and reports non-conforming products or materials, and collaborate with Operations/Engineering team to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Documents inspection results, analyzes data, and prepares reports for review by senior QA personnel and management.
**TECHINCAL SKILLS**:
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, high level of professional integrity, and positive team attitude.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Completion of post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering, Quality Assurance or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 1 year experience working in an environment regulated by ISO 9001 and associated standards.
- Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, inspection tools, and manufacturing processes.
