**Position Highlights**:
As a Financial Analyst, Public Private Partnerships, you will provide assistance to clients through the capital and operating planning process by providing guidance on available funding and assists clients establish appropriate priorities on capital purchases. In this role, you will prepare and maintain the capital and operating planning records and funding requests for capital acquisition across assigned Fraser Health’s public private partnership (P3) projects.

**Build on your education and career experience as you**:

- Prepare the annual multi-year plans for assigned FH P3 projects by assisting with the development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the capital and operating planning process.
- Determine the annual source and allocation of funds to be recommended to FH Senior Executive team and management teams by gathering and sorting information, preparing and reconciling spreadsheets; prepare capital and operating budget reports in order to identify, investigate and report on variances.
- Prepare the period financial statements and reports to the government, outside agencies, department and FH Executive by compiling and reconciling information from the capital and operating budgets; assist with the preparation of year-end working papers and provides support to schedules and reports.
- Support the Financial Manager, P3 Projects by ensuring that capital and operating equipment approvals achieve anticipated outcomes as they relate to the scope, schedule, and budget of the original approval; provide advisories to ensure that appropriate adjustments are made throughout the process.
- Serve on assigned Equipment Review Committee(s); communicates implications of decisions of the Committee to the Financial Manager, P3 Projects and updates the Capital Plan as appropriate.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the assigned P3 projects asset management system by compiling and providing information, as required.
- Participate on assigned internal and external committees, as assigned.
- Provide senior consulting services to all disciplines and stakeholders by keeping abreast of the initiatives and issues within the business areas and leading the business area through developing business cases.
- Ensure project closure by providing post-implementation evaluation; measuring key outcomes, assessing project related staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, obtaining project sign off, and documenting lessons learned.
- Provide project leadership to a variety of large, complex projects including a number of diverse disciplines and/or affecting multiple stakeholders.
- Manage assigned projects through the project management lifecycle using standard documentation methodologies such as project charters.
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Are you passionate about joining our team? We will be looking for you to have**:

- CPA recognized professional accounting designation and/or university degree in Business, Finance or Commerce.
- Five (5) years' recent related financial accounting experience, including two (2) years' experience working within a complex purchasing environment
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.
