Washrack Technician/tank Cleaner

**Washrack Technician/Tank Cleaner**

We are looking for a Washrack Technician for our shop in Edmonton, AB. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who has shop experience and a passion for safety.

**Pay**:

- $23.48 per hour
- Additional $1.50 shift premium

**Hours**:

- Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday
- Afternoon shift (3pm-11:30pm)

**Responsibilities**:

- Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning.
- Hose testing/cleaning.
- Pump flush.
- Drive equipment.
- Tank entry and confined space training
- Operation of hand tools.
- Wash work orders.
- Tank steam for clean.
- Steam product for repair.
- Assist in wash order scheduling.
- Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
- Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
- Comfortable working either indoor or outdoor (Appropriate gear is provided)

**Skills**:

- Positive and strong work ethic.
- Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
- Positive attitude and job performance.
- Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
- Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
- Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's License
- Grade 12 or equivalent
