Payroll Clerk Payroll Department **Location**: 40 Matheson Boulevard West, Mississauga ON L5R 1C5 (1 position/1.00FTE) **Salary Range**: $1116.25- $1,281.34 weekly 8:30 am 4:30 pm The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. DPCDSB, one of Ontarios largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission. Position Summary Under direction from the Supervisor/Designate, this position is responsible for accurately processing salary and deductions to produce a pay record using a computerized human resources system, following strict bi-weekly, monthly and annual deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality is a requirement of this position. This description is a summary of the typical functions of the job and is not to be considered an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties **Basic Qualifications**: **The basic qualifications for this position include**: Secondary School Diploma Two (2) years relevant payroll experience Proficient in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create, manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others Demonstrated accurate keyboarding including number pad And Evidence from previous work history of satisfactory attendance and punctuality ALL new employees will be required to submit a current original criminal background check (CBC) including a "Vulnerable Sector Screening" (VSS) issued within 6 months prior to commencing employment with the Board.
