**Job Summary**: We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic part time Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to provide top-notch service to our customers and maintain cleanliness of the bakery. Ensuring that every guest feels valued and leaves with a smile. Your role will involve handling transactions, answering questions, and helping to maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere while also helping the kitchen with tasks such as scooping cookies, making quiche shells and other tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sanitation**:

- Collect all dishes, cutlery, and glasses. Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use. Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before use. Assemble food for patrons. Prepare takeout packages. Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash. Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized.
- **Customer Interaction**: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and assist with product selection. Provide recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- **Cash Handling**: Process transactions accurately using the register, handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and manage the cash drawer.
- **Store Maintenance**: Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized, including shelves, displays, and dining areas. Assist with stocking and restocking items as needed.
- **Back-of-House Support**: Assist with tasks such as scooping cookies, preparing quiche shells, and other bakery preparation tasks as needed. Ensure that all products are prepared according to our high standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in customer service or a food service environment is preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.
- **Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attitude**: Positive, friendly demeanor with a genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service.
- **Availability**: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with frequent interaction with customers.

Pay: $16.80-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
