High River Ford Service Department is looking for a self motivated applicant for our Oil Change and Tire Department. This position can lead to an immediate apprenticeship. Experience preferred but not required. Applicant must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment.

**Summary**

As a Tire and Lube Technician, you will be essential in performing maintenance and repair services to ensure the safety and performance of vehicles. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core skills in mechanical knowledge, automotive repair, and customer service will be vital in providing quality service to our clients. Your experience with hand and power tools, along with heavy lifting, will enable you to efficiently complete tire changes and oil changes. Additionally, your premium skills in dealership and mechanic experience, along with relevant sales skills, will enhance customer interactions and contribute to the growth of our service department.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, and repairs with precision and care.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes and fluid checks.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive repair
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Previous mechanic experience, preferably in a dealership setting
- Sales experience is a plus, enhancing customer interactions and service

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
- Retention bonus
