Job Summary

Junior Pool Service Technicians Responsibilities
Preparation
- Assist crew leader prepare for day, loading truck for the day ahead.
- Prepare job sites by unloading equipment, and removing debris from pools or pool covers.
- Travel to job sites across the GTA in company provided vehicle, provide emergency backup support as needed.

Pool Opening/Closing
- Assembling and disassembling pool fixtures and equipment.
- Installing or removing pool covers.
- Ensure all equipment removed end of season is stored in its designated location safely.

Communication
- Communicate steps taken, completed as well as questions and concerns with crew leader or crew members.
- Communicate any suggestions, and equipment installed for Crew Leader for work order update at each jobsite.

Junior Pool Service Technicians Results
- Trucks are loaded efficiently, allowing for a quick start to the day.
- All equipment setup and ready pool side to begin Opening or Closing.
- Navigation and radio controls managed, driver has a responsive and alert passenger to rely on.
- Pool equipment is installed or removed in good condition, stored in it’s designated location.
- Pool covers are installed or removed safely, while minimizing potential tears and rips.
- Every member in the team is aware of what needs to be done next and any potential hazards.
- Job sites are left clean and tidy for customers.
- Work orders are accurate, invoices for customers are correct.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- Previous experience in pool/spa maintenance is an asset, but is not required.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times when representing the company.
- Ability to work with machinery, equipment, tools, pipes etc.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Highly motivated, organized, and reliable.

Work Conditions
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs is required.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. safety boots, eye & hand protection etc.)
- Work outdoors in rain, heat, humidity, and cold weather.
- Hazards associated with the industry such as;
- Pool chemicals
- Slippery and wet surfaces
- Muddy surfaces
- Standing, crouching, and bending for extended periods of time

- 1 - 3 years: Pool Industry
- 1 - 3 years: Pool Winterization
- 1 - 3 years: Pool Summarizing
- 1 - 3 years: Pool Maintenance
- 1 - 3 years: Chemical Balancing

**Licenses & Certifications**: Required
- G Drivers License
