**DZ Flatbed** - **Day / Afternoon** - **No Weekends** - **Local Runs** -**Start up to $30.92/hr** - **Overtime after 40 hrs/wk**
Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced **DZ Driver** to transfer steel parts & plate between its three nearby Brampton locations and for occasional local runs. Full-time permanent. **Work schedule**: Day shift (7am - 3pm) & afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm) available. **Starting pay** from $25.38 to $30.92 per hour depending on experience PLUS up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums. **We'll gladly consider AZ applicants and will pay accordingly**
**Duties**
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality and customer service.
- Transport steel parts and plate up to 30,000 lbs using 24' flatbed straight truck.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and tarped as needed.
- Complete all necessary documents, logs, and inspections.
- Comply with the Highway Traffic Act and other applicable regulations.
- Represent Brannon Steel in a friendly and professional manner.

**Requirements**:

- Valid DZ license with clean abstract. Valid AZ license is an asset.
- Strong flatbed experience.
- Heavy load securement and oversize load experience.
- Able to operate automatic AND manual transmission.
- Able to safely move up / down truck and tarp loads.
- Forklift & overhead crane operator experience are an asset.
- Read / write / speak English at a conversational level.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm OR 3pm to 11pm.
- Friendly, professional attitude.
