The Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit organization that promotes environmental education on-site at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo.

Key responsibilities include:

- Solicit community foundations and corporations through grant writing.
- Identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors.
- Development and implementation of SZS fundraising events and campaigns.
- Securing and growing revenue streams to support annual budget.
- Community engagement, identifying and engaging of new community partners.
- Attending fundraising events, networking events and giving presentations.
- Ensuring accurate collection and reporting of all fundraising data.
- Contributing to social media and marketing strategies in alignment with designated fundraising campaigns and events.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in fundraising and donor development
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed fundraising goals
- Demonstrated success in developing fundraising campaigns and events initiatives
- Experience in the non-profit sector and understanding of the donor stewardship and relations cycle
- Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding from private and public sectors.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a Police Record Check

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
