We've proudly certified millions of parts and work to ensure our clients reduce or eliminate the need for third party inspection, sorting and containment.

We are currently looking to fill positions in Scarborough, Ontario All shifts available.

**Position Summary**:
The Team Leader will be responsible for the coordination of a team of workers to meet production, quality targets and quality standards. Responsibilities will include the training of staff in lean production methods, safety, policies and procedures, as well as the identification and correction of potential work problems and health and safety issues. Through the effective management of targets, and goals, the Team Lead will ensure the ongoing success of their team.

**Roles & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)**:

- Ensure team members are performing their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure all team members are signed in at the start of their shift.
- Ensure all team members are wearing safety vests, safety shoes and any other P.P.E. as required.
- Troubleshoot all production issues so that we can ensure customer targets are met.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedure and company policy.
- Ensure all personnel comply with training requirements, work standards, policies, and procedures.
- Act as key contact for customer concerns and trouble shoot customer concerns with diplomacy at all times.
- Assist in Health and Safety investigations
- Represent EDN and EDN management by talking and acting with professionalism towards; others including EDN employees; customer contacts; customer employees; and other parties associated with a customer
- Address any supervisor, customer concerns as they arise.
- Communicate any HR concerns to local HR support & supervisors.
- Address any disciplinary, coaching or HSE occurrences with supervisor
- Participate in team debrief post shift.

**Job Qualifications for Position**:

- Minimum 1 year of team lead experience.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing and quality experience.
- Ability to take initiative and recognize employee and customer needs.
- Ability to train others and learn new skills.
- Ability to: Stand, sit, walk, push and pull, twist and bend and lift between 35-65lbs.
- Good vision and the ability to distinguish between colours.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Shift and weekend flexibility.
- Active first aid certification an asset.
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and your own reliable transportation.
