IT Technician

MaintainX is the world leading mobile-first workflow management platform for industrial and frontline workers. We are building the GitHub for real world workflows such as maintenance, safety and operations and improving operational efficiency for 2,000+ businesses including Univar, Quikrete, ABInBev, Duracell, Marriott and McDonald's.

We've raised $54 million in venture capital following a recent Series B funding round led by Bessemer Ventures, August Capital, Amity Ventures, Ridge Ventures as well as the founders of UiPath and Thumbtack.

We are looking for an IT Technician with a passion for helping others and who wants to grow alongside MaintainX. This is a hybrid role, so you will need to be able to come on-site as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Offering technical support and information to users
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
- Maintaining hardware and software inventory
- Installing and upgrading security systems to ensure network security
- Maintaining relationships with different employees and departments

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of computers and their components
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, 802.1x)
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to prioritize tasks when under pressure
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
- Familiar with Windows and macOS
- A DEC in computer science technology or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Familiar with Linux operating systems
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions
