Right at Home Etobiokce North is looking for a live-in caregiver on weekends ( 6pm Friday
- 9 am Monday)

Right at Home **Etobicoke North** In-Home Health Care is part of an International family of over 550 Care Offices around the globe. We provide a full suite of both non-medical and medical care, products and services to older adults and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently at home, wherever home is for them.
We are looking for a team of special individuals who can offer a highly professional approach and commitment to our client families and Right at Home.

Live-in caregivers are there to meet the client's need (supervision, company, personal care) as well as any domestic chores that might be needed (maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, ect.) Live-in caregivers are provided a space to sleep while the client sleeps (8-10 hours nightly)
- Police Criminal Reference Check
- Updated immunizations.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- PSW certification or equivalent
- Current certificate in standard first-aid and CPR
- Ability to travel freely to see clients

**Duties**:

- Assisting with personal grooming
- Bathing
- Dressing and undressing
- Mobilization activities (turning, transferring, exercising and walking)
- Toileting
- Eating and meal preparations
- Specialty care an asset (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)
- Companionship, outings
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
- Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed

**Work Locations**:

- client homes
- locations outside of the client’s home and other sites as needed.

Pay: $250.00 per day

Expected hours: 63 per week

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekends only
