Swimming Instructor

Summary: We are looking for individuals that love to teach swimming to all ages.

Location: LA Fitness Whitby and / or LA Fitness Oshawa

Schedule: Minimum will include 1 evening lesson (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and 1 weekend lesson (Saturday or Sunday) approximately 10 hours. More hours available up to 24 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service
- Teach swimming lessons
- Work directly with the public and provide administrative functions
- Update swimming skills and attendance weekly on iClass (app directly downloaded to your phone)

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in High School or enrolled in post secondary
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children
- Swim Instructor, NL and Standard First Aid CPR ‘C’ and AED qualification in good standing
- Competitive swimming or swim team background (preferred not mandatory)

**Salary**: $19 - $24 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Minimum 8 hours per week up to 24 hours per week
