**Full Job Description**
Do you possess a high level of reliability, precision, and attention to detail? Are you looking to start your career in Finance? We are looking for a Billing Assistant to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds. The Billing Assistant will gather data, respond to customer inquiries, assist with data entry, perform other clerical duties and create invoices for billing purposes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collating, preparing, and issuing information related to customer accounts, including invoices, bills, account reports and other relevant financial statements
- Records and actions incoming cheques, rebates, and other transactions
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and invoices before sending to clients
- Performs general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due to items purchased or services rendered.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed
**Requirements and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Data entry skills along with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Quickbooks (preferred)
- Takes a logical approach to analyzing problems and strong analytical abilities
**Hours of Work**
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Occasional weekend availability
