**Your Role at KIK- LAVO Division**

Under the responsibility of the Quality Assurance Department Manager and using laboratory equipment, he/she carries out quantitative and qualitative analyseson:

- raw materials,
- production batches,
- bulk products
- finished products
- consumer and customer complaints
- He determines their physical and chemical properties and ensures that they comply with established specifications. Any variations or discrepancies must be noted and reported to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Carries out work to improve the quality of existing products. Provides production support.

**What You''ll Be Doing?**
- Perform analysis and approval of raw materials, bulk products, batch lots and finished products.
- Document results according to existing systems.
- Preparation and correction of special batches in the laboratory
- Distribute finished product specifications to production.
- Increased presence in the plant to provide production support
- Check conformity of production lines in collaboration with production
- Various tests in collaboration with the plant
- Analyze the plant's water (inlet, softened and waste) and ensure that it complies with established standards, determine ion composition and water hardness, send samples and analyze reports.
- Carry out the required complaint analyses on all products. Document these investigations and write complaint reports. Submit these to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Carry out the necessary investigations and draw up non-conformity reports.
- Production, approval and dispatch of certificates of analysis.
- Carry out required laboratory analyses of batches of all finished products as well as raw materials, production line rounds.
- Receive laboratory orders
- Document dispatch and receipt of various samples.
- Correct out-of-standard batches. Submit these for approval to the Quality Assurance Manager or R&D Department.
- Ensure the proper operation of laboratory equipment, perform calibrations and optimize its use.
- Monitor analysis indicators/results (mix, finished products, complaints, etc.) to identify needs for continuous improvement.
- Monitor consumer/customer complaints to identify needs for continuous improvement.
- Draft Quality documents, including work instructions, procedures, operating methods, analysis methods, etc.
- Provide Quality training to plant employees.
- Data entry
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies: chemicals, dishes, equipment, etc.
- Follow-up of Safety Data Sheets for plant and laboratory raw materials (quality control).
- Follow-up of raw materials
- Quarantine monitoring (identification of problems and development of corrective actions)
- Updating and development of work tools (component weights, specifications, schedules, non-conformities, etc.).
- Participates in Quality meetings
- Analysis and monitoring of certain plant equipment (e.g. filters)
- Maintain order and cleanliness Perform all other tasks related to quality control and assurance.

**What You''ll Bring**
- Diploma Collegial Studies in analytical chemistry, laboratory technology or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills French spoken and written
