**SHIFT**: 6PM TO 6AM
Friday - Saturday - Sunday

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing all facets of the organization's warehouse operations. This includes responsibilities ranging from receiving and inventory control to picking, loading, safety, and security. The incumbent will collaborate with third-party loading services to ensure accurate and timely shipments, while also planning, organizing, leading, and directing warehouse personnel activities.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience in warehouse setting or similar position with a proven track record.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and leadership
- Proficient in time management and delegation
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
- Familiarity with warehouse data systems
- Outstanding customer service and leadership skills
- Ability to conduct effective dock meetings and motivate staff.
- Capacity to train employees in new procedures
- Provide feedback on group and individual performance according to standard operating procedures.
- Ability to deliver constructive criticism.
- Willingness to learn new methods and systems.
- Participation in hiring, evaluating, training, restructuring, and occasional termination of team members.

**ENVIRONMENT WORK SETTING**:
The individual performs assigned duties in a warehouse setting.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead floor staff to hit operation goals.
- Control workflow on the floor.
- Be the right hand to the supervisor.
- Ensuring employees adhere to policies, processes, and performance standards.
- Supporting the rollout of new processes, providing training support
- Training, supervising, and overseeing reporting personnel in designated areas.
- Maintaining targets, objectives, and goals throughout induction processes
- Implementing/supervising safe practices and ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Coordinating effective communications with internal and external clients
- Managing and controlling the yard, inbound and outbound flow
- Managing the shipping of all products to other Metro facilities
- Ensuring proper processes with a focus on identifying damages and ensuring stop dates
- Supervising all warehouse personnel, including hiring, scheduling, and development
- Overseeing all receiving activities to ensure on-time delivery and monitoring yard management.
- Supervising billing for all warehousing storage
- Ensuring the completion and sign-off of the end-of-day checklist
- Sending end-of-day reports to leadership up to the regional level after each shift
- Ensuring a proper handoff to the next shift supervisor
- Completing end-of-day checklists and reports
