**A DAY IN THE LIFE**:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including:, operations, product, and technology teams to drive forward innovation and achieve transformation goals
- Document critical operational activities, processes, technology systems, and reporting tools in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze operational activities based on time, effort, and value, providing actionable recommendations for operational improvements and diversion strategies
- Partner with Technical Architects to evaluate feasibility and effort required to optimize operational workflows and diversion
- Assess existing products and tools, as well as research new technologies, to identify opportunities for efficiency gains
- Engage with internal and externals stakeholders to understand current operations, map progresses, and gather requirements
- Develop business process models using best practices, including current and future state solution design documents
- Write comprehensive functional and technical specifications for technical team members
- Track and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity during implementation, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing
- Serve as a strong communicator and change advocate, conducting stakeholder analysis and communications planning to drive innovation initiatives

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Process Optimization Specialist
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional documentation and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Passionate about improving operational efficiency
- Keen interest for data and enabling reporting capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and take charge of projects
- Travel required (up to 30%) to various locations across Canada and the US
- This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs

**COMPENSATION**
- Salary $45,000 - $55,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
