Delivery Helper

Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a **Delivery Helper** to join our team. **You** will work out of our Wellington West location. Lyons Ltd. has been part of the community since 1913 - today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent's Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Help deliver materials to job site and customers’ locations safely
- Assist with loading vehicles
- Provide directions to the driver
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle in a timely manner
- Provide customer service in the lumber yard
- Confirm load and paperwork are accurate and well organized
- Keep the vehicle clean at all times
- Maintain lumber yard to store standards
- Interact friendly and positively with customers and colleagues
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Friendly and positive individual with an attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Team player with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs safely
- Posses the ability to assess weights, judge distances and heights
- Forklift license would be an asset, but not required
