You will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior our buildings, and for taking care of the grounds outside and inside building. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.

**Responsibilities**:

- Disinfect high use areas including reception desk, railings, door handles, light switches etc
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming them, shampooing rugs
- Washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
- Gather and empty trash
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- High school diploma/GED required
- Minimum 1-year Janitorial experience preferred
- Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision
- Meticulous and diligent
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.

**Working Conditions**
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
- Office and outdoor environments
- 8-12 hours a day, weekend work

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
