Come join our team Camp Alliwannado is leadership-focused day camp with locations in Tavistock & Ayr, ON. We will be offering 8 weeks of themed programming for 75-140 kids a week We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Program Directors to oversee daily camp operations, ensuring an engaging and safe environment for campers aged 4-12. The director will lead a team of staff, develop a diverse program of activities, and ensure smooth communication with parents, staff, and campers. **Please visit our website to read our full job description before applying.** **Qualifications**: - Previous experience in camp leadership or education preferred. - Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. - Passionate for creating a positive and engaging camp environment. - Ability to manage a team and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. - First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). **Key Responsibilities**: - Plan and implement a variety of age-appropriate activities and schedules. - Supervise, train, and manage camp staff to ensure a positive camper experience. - Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all campers. - Communicate regularly with parents regarding camper progress and camp activities. - Handle camper behaviour and emergencies with professionalism and care. Age: 18+ **Must be able to commute to Tavistock, ON.** Employment Period: June 23 - August 22 2025, with remote prep work in the spring. - Pre-season prep: Now - July - Prep week: June 23-27 - Camp Season: June 30-August 22 (except Civic Holiday - August 4) Screening Required: Application, Police Records Check 18+ (every 3 years), References, Interview Pay: Season salary of $8-10k, based on education and experience. Training: Applicants must be able to attend all mandatory staff training. - On-site Staff Training in Tavistock - Last Week of June (During "prep week") - Staff Training/Team-building Weekend - location TBD - May/June - Team Lead training weekend - location TBD - May/June **Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 9 weeks Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per year Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-06-23
