Dining Services Manager

**Position: Dining Services Manager - Berwick Royal Oak**

**Working schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (9:30am to 6:00pm) (approximately) Great Work / Life Balance**

**Salary: $53,000**

**Job Summary**:

- Now, if you were to come on board as one of our **Dining Services Manager,** we’d ask you to do the following for us:
To ensure a high standard of service, appearance and hospitality in all dining areas, including the Dining Room, Bistro, Shield & Dragon (Pub), BRIO (Licensed Care Unit) and Private Dining Rooms, within Victoria’s premium retirement community, Berwick Royal Oak.
- Have an on floor presence during all meal periods. (including breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Manage and oversee all front of house operations.
- Respond efficiently and professionally to resident feedback, both positive and negative.
- Recruit, hire and train front of house associates.
- Submit weekly payroll, purchasing and inventory reports.
- Monitor standard operating procedures and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Set-up, delivery and pack-down of service for a variety of special events and dinners.
- Delivery of associate ongoing training/coaching, probationary and annual reviews.
- Work with HR Advisors to create and issue all front of house related disciplinary actions.
- Attend weekly meetings as required.
- Other duties as outlined by the Director of Hospitality Services

- Minimum of three years experience in a food services supervisory role.
- Passion for customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills when mentoring, coaching or disciplining an employee.
- Flexible and able to embrace and adapt to changing dynamics.
- Willingness to go above and beyond in order to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of wine and table service etiquette.
- Computer knowledge; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and internet navigation.

**Important note**:A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment. Tuberculosis Screening Test results will also be required.**

**Salary**: $53,000.00 per year
