**Softscape Labour - Union Position**

**Responsibilities**:

- Proper installation of plants and plant material
- Able to install shrubs/trees/sod/topsoil/mulch
- Vigilant for safety and hazards at all times
- Digging by hand
- Pushing wheel barrels
- Grading for sod installation
- Always adhere to our safe work practices and procedures

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of Softscape experience - Landscaping
- Proven experience installing shrubs/trees/sod
- A solid understanding of landscape materials gained from experience
- Ability to work outdoors for long lengths of time
- Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Presentable and professional at all times
- Good work ethic, punctual and dependable
- Must be detail oriented
- G License is an asset
- Ability to operate a skidsteer and/or mini ex is an asset

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Softscape: 2 years (preferred)
