Selkirk, Canada Emerald Greens Cannabis Co. Full time

Emerald Greens is seeking **One Full-Time and Two Part-Time sales associates** who are knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individuals interested in joining our team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Manage sales software, running customer sales through
- Responsible for keeping inventory checks on on products in store
- Create an educational and informative experience for all customers, regardless of their experience with cannabis. In-house training will be provided
- Recommend products including cannabis flower, oils, and cannabis/smoking accessories to customers
- Open and or close at the beginning or end of shifts, following standard operating procedures
- Report any suspicious behaviours or abusive customers to store managers
- General housekeeping of store spaces (sweep sales floor area, wipe down counters & glass display cabinets, etc.)
- Must ID all customers
- Abide by all company policies and procedures as directed by the store managers

**Qualifications**:

- Must provide a copy of completed Smart Choices Cannabis Certification
- Must provide a copy of your Criminal Background Check prior to start date
- Minimum 2 years retail experience, preferably in a customer focused environment
- Must have knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
- A flexible schedule (weekdays, weekends and evenings)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Attention to detail
- Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and know when to seek guidance
- Experience working with similar brands/products (not necessary, but an asset),
- A flexible schedule (weekdays, weekends and evenings)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $14.50-$15.50 per hour
