We are searching for a Cook 3(Prep Cook) to join our Parkland Eglinton West team based in Etobicoke, Ontario.

**Approximate hourly wage**: $18.50 - $19.25

About the Opportunity

Assists with preparation of food for all meals and special functions (e.g. catering, theme dinners) to ensure service meets established standards;
Reports any recipe shortages, discrepancies or quality issues to the Executive Chef or supervisor in a timely manner;
Clean and sanitize cooking station daily; maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment such as ovens, kettles, mixers, and others in order to maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen to meet legislative and organizational standards; responsible for the clear and correct labeling of excess food;
Follows disposal procedures according to established waste management guidelines for organics, paper, plastics, cans/bottles, non-recyclable material, etc;
About You

You have a high-school diploma or a GED.
You possess a valid Food Handler’s certificate
You have at least one year of experience with food preparation.
You can read & follow detailed recipes/instructions as required and communicate in an efficient manner in a team-oriented setting.
You can provide a clear criminal record check.
