Future Transfer is a growing story; join us and tell your part. - **Why work for us?**_ - Competitive wages - Premium health benefits - Premium RRSP & matched contributions plan - Employee Assistance Program - Company supplied uniforms, PPE & safety shoes - Paid vacation - Company lunches - Company promotional items throughout the year - Short term disability and long-term disability - Continued growth and development of our people & our business **Who are we searching for?** - **We are looking for a Class 1A Driver to join our busy Future Transfer team**_ - **Job Duties**:_ - Drive truck and deliver products to customers. - Load trucks properly (weight distribution, etc.) - Placard trucks according to TDG procedures - Maintain and keep truck clean - Route planning - Ability to lift and that driver assist is a requirement of the job - Familiarity with Road Restrictions and farm to farm deliveries - Overtime may be required (no overnight stays) - **Requirements**:_ - Solid written and oral communication skills - Attention to detail is critical - Must possess a valid class 1A driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract, and have a minimum of 2-3 years "safe" driving experience - Mechanical aptitude as pertaining to maintaining motor vehicles - Good time management and organizational skills - Must be a team player and maintain professionalism at all times - Safe and proper handling of all equipment and products - Required lifting, pulling and pushing up to a maximum of 60 pounds - Understanding of transportation regulations and shipping documents - Carefully complete all documents as required - Forklift driving experience an asset - **Working Conditions**:_ - Required to work both indoors and outdoors, including adverse conditions - Variable start and end shift times - Drivers are home every night with no overnight stays providing a good work/life balance Safety is our priority, both the starting point and foundation for all aspects of our business operations.
