**Financial Advisor Assistant**

Sophia Financial Group is looking for a Financial Advisor Assistant to join our wonderful team. This position requires a person with superior written and oral communication skills, a keen attention to detail and a positive attitude. Social values and community contribution are as important to us as delivering exceptional investment advice and financial planning expertise.
- WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in responding to all administrative requests including EFTs, electronic deposits and withdrawals, account transfers, account updates such as address changes and banking info
- Entering buy/sell orders of securities on Dataphile and follow up and monitoring of transactions
- Administering the opening of all new accounts
- Responding to client requests for information
- Preparing for client meetings by running various reports
- Assisting with analysis of prospective clients portfolios
- Maintaining client database (Maximizer) by entering notes and ensuring files are accurate
- Maintaining client files and other general office duties
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU HAVE
- Minimum two years administrative or industry experience
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conducts and Practices Course, or willingness to obtain
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints
- Solid work ethic and a professional demeanor
- A caring attitude with genuine passion and dedication

This 4 day a week position (30 hours) offers work life balance with a competitive salary. Our harmonious and attractive office has easy access to transit and has ample parking.
