Kinesiologist

StretchLab is seeking highly motivated **kinesiology students/graduates** to join our Flexologist team

About the role

As a **Flexologist**, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. This is an amazing opportunity to put your Kinesiology knowledge into practice while gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness and wellness industry by storm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute)
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
- Ensure safety of clients with proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
- Help with maintaining strong social media presence to client membership and retention
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work area to ensure it is available for client use at any given time / to COVID-19 cleaning procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Preferred backgrounds: Personal Trainer Physical Therapist / Athletic Therapist /

Kinesiologist / Massage Therapist / Pilates, Yoga, Dance Instructor, certified / licensed healthcare worker.
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with client
- Fitness or related certification required
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
- Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve their goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
- Must be available to go through our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Commission pay

- East St Paul, MB R2E 0H9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
