**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Operations Management**:
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring timely output while maintaining product quality and safety.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:
Ensure full compliance with CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), Health Canada, HACCP, GMP, and other federal/provincial regulations.
- **Team Leadership**:
Supervise, coach, and support production staff, ensuring proper training, performance management, and adherence to safety protocols.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- **Safety & Sanitation**:
Promote a culture of health and safety in line with Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Work with Health & Safety teams to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- **Inventory & Resource Planning**:
Work with purchasing and inventory teams to manage raw materials and packaging supplies to avoid production delays.
- **Reporting & KPIs**:
Track and report on production metrics including output, downtime, waste, and labour utilization. Prepare daily and weekly performance summaries for management.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of CFIA regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast-paced food production environment.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on production needs.
