We are looking for a Burntable Operator to join our team This position would be full-time, Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am. We are a rapidly growing company with lots of upcoming opportunities. If this sounds like something you are interested, please apply
- Operating an Oxyfuel plasma burner to cut material as specified by work orders and customer needs.
- Oversee the burning process, including evaluating work orders, properly and efficiently setting up the machine, performing all cutting functions according to drawings, continuously monitoring/inspecting job for quality, packaging material per customer requirements, and cleaning the work area.
- Meeting customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity.
- inspection form.
- Able to work well with other burntable operator
- Cleans burn table and performs minor preventative maintenance such as checking coolant levels and gases and changing or adjusting them as needed. Changes oxyfuel tips. Completes maintenance log.
- Communicate and work with assistant Plant Manager to maintain efficiencies, detect and report defective material or questionable conditions.
- Other duties may be assigned that may specifically impact business and/or organizational needs

**Qualifications**
- **Experience as asset**:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting considered an asset
- Ability to comprehend instructions and memos
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- General knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices
- Experience with precision instructions and knowledge of computer programs
- Problem solving skills
- Basic math skills
