Groupe Robert (Mississauga Terminal) currently have openings for **Inventory Technician**. The incumbents will carry out the duties of the position just-in-time on a daily basis to ensure that it meets the Company’s objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the integrity of the physical and system inventory for customers, the availability of products
- Follow up with the client to respond to their requests
- Solve problems as soon as they arise in order to ensure the productivity of our operations (operational management)
- Maintain compliance with procedures and documentation in place
- Ensure communication and a good relationship with the client
- Report any abnormalities to the supervisor if they cannot be corrected by your contribution
- Communicate working practices, procedures and methods as needed
- Provide feedback on continuous improvement and problem solving (quality management)
- Proceed to cyclical counts at the frequencies determined with the customer
- Carry out annual inventories
- Complete daily reports (inventory drill, performance reports, inventory level, etc.)
- Perform spot checks to ensure that the inventory quantities indicated in the system and those of the floor are identical
- Proceed to the various data entries in the system and concerning new products or new consignees
- Respond to customer demand regarding inventory monitoring
- Respond to operations in a timely manner so as to serve the client and at the same time allow good inventory management
- Report any anomaly to the operations or to the inventory coordinator if these cannot be corrected
- Perform all other tasks assigned by management
- Perform data entry
- Provide recommendations for process improvement

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
- High school diploma
- Training in supply management or other training related to the field
- Excellent skills in using computer systems
- Ability to work standing and sitting for a period of time
- Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP, WMS-Manhattan (an asset)
- Knowledge of controlled goods (an asset)
- Licensed and experience using machinery equipment (forklift, reach, order/cherry picker)

Pay: From $23.88 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
