Manual Machinist

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of manual machining processes and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Skilled in using micrometers and other precision measuring tools
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
