We work with school communities, partners, governments, donors, and other organizations, to provide safe and inclusive programs that support students in underserved communities. We believe that if we improve the health and well-being of our children, they will do better in school. And, if they do better in school, they will have a better future. **The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a **Supply Planner & Scheduler** to join our growing **Planning and Logistics team**. This is a new role, created to support the expansion of our Student Nutrition Programs (SNPs), enabling us to provide even greater support to the communities we serve. You will play a key role in executing the daily and weekly supply chain to ensure thousands of students have daily access to nutritious meals that support their learning and well-being.

Reporting to the Senior Planner, this role translates the master plan into daily execution steps, manages all of the exceptions to the expected supply plan and reconciles plan to actual data with vendors and for internal reporting. Critical metrics influencing this role’s activities include product quality going to programs, supply alignment with menu needs and “on time in full” (OTIF) delivery performance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Finite scheduling of deliveries - short-term (2 to 4 weeks out) execution of the product supply plans;
- Conversion of the rolling master supply plan (several weeks to several months) into released purchase orders for vendors in the short-term period;
- Ensure the schedule of deliveries is supported by timely and accurate pick, pack and ship documentation (e.g. packing slips and instructions);
- Adjust the planned P.O.s and shipment schedules according to the weekly status updates on inventory received from the nutrition programs;
- Maintain an accurate and timely central shipment record of all outbound orders for product moving to schools, including from TFSS, 3rd party providers and delivery partners (e.g. North York Harvest and Second Harvest);
- Ensure a system for maintaining both plan and actual shipments record for the purpose of performance reporting and accurate accounting records;
- Working with the Senior Planner and Procurement team, align program needs/menus and SNP feed-back and intelligence with available supply options for the programs. This includes collaboration with Procurement to introduce appropriate variety and substitutions;
- Identify opportunities to better align vendor product pack configurations with program needs for in-school product distribution (e.g. portions, case counts, packaging);
- Ensure short shipments from vendors are appropriately substituted with other portion options and schedule supplementary deliveries, as required;
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints/suggestions /feedback respecting food deliveries;
- Through timely and accurate updates of out-bound delivery shipping records, ensure that vendor invoices can be reconciled against TFSS purchase orders and shipments in a timely manner;

**Education, Experience and Skills Requirements**:**
- 2-3 years of experience in supply and delivery coordination.
- Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related field
- Experience with planning and scheduling systems and APICS certification is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams, vendors and partners
