In-store and Online Sales

Montreal based and family-owned Naked & Famous Denim specializes in Japanese denim and apparel with a focus on superior quality, attention to detail, and vintage style production methods. The products we carry are carefully curated from of the top producers in their respected fields, with an emphasis on goods produced in Japan, Canada or the USA.
We at Naked & Famous Denim are looking for someone to join us in-store and online sales team full time at our Montreal shop.
Job objective
Provide prompt and courteous service to French and English customers both in store and online.
Status
Reports directly to the Tate + Yoko manager and works in close collaboration with the general manager and other departments. Represents the main part of the in-store team and through his/her participation creates a healthy and pleasant atmosphere for customers and staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to provide customers with the right products
- Replenishing the shop floor and warehouse
- Maintaining the store (cash, floor, fitting rooms or stock)
- Maintains a neat, organized store appearance
- Ensures that merchandise is properly priced and labeled and attractively displayed
- Follows procedures and store policies
- Translating of product information from English to French for online store
- Picking and packing online orders from store and warehouse
- Answers phone calls and provide customers with necessary information
- Other duties when the store does not have customers
**Qualifications**:
- Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written **French** and **English**
- Willing to work full time schedule weekdays and weekends
- General work experience or equivalent formal education
- Knowledge of raw denim and related fashion brands
- Other qualifications: excellent communication skills, service-oriented and team player
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
- One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
- Experience with Shopify, Shipstation, Momentis and Zendesk preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
