**Position Summary**

Looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Truck Driver (US/ CAN) in Calgary, AB. Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.

- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must have LCV driving experience and Fast Card
- Must have Highway and Mountain driving Experience

**What you will do**
- Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
- Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
- Must have minimum 1 year of Highway and Winter driving experience
- Minimum 1 year BC Mountain driving experience required
- Must have LCV license and Fast card
- Flat deck and B Train driving experience will be an asset
- Moffett and Forklift experience will be an asset
- TDG, strapping and Load Securement certificate is an asset
- P&D deliveries with attention to productivity and customer service.
- Capable of performing all aspects of the job function for which you are applying
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
