MODERN OPEN CONCEPT and SPA-LIKE MEDICAL CLINIC is seeking one (1) Phlebotomist in downtown Toronto for a part-time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect blood or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for collection by the Lab.
- Ensures all necessary documentation is collected, completed, logged and specimens are correctly processed.
- Ensures supplies are properly ordered, maintained and stock has not exceeded expiry date.
- Routine disinfecting of work area and equipment is to be completed on a routine/scheduled basis
- Measure patients' vital signs and when necessary height and weight, and record this information in the patient chart for the physician.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification or degree required
- Demonstrated skill in phlebotomy, with the ability to manage anxious patients through the sample obtaining process in a pleasant, calming and reassuring manner
- Past experience as a phlebotomist in a busy clinic
- Experience in Intramuscular/Intravenous Injections
- Experience with Accuro EMR is an asset.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, at a level that enables you to communicate instructions, clearly and understandably, to patients

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
