**Overview**

Iree Community Agency offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile and highly motivated Personal Support workers.

We are looking for personal support workers to assist residential and respite clients by providing staff supervision, care and developmental programming, as well as overseeing the personal care and upkeep for client in accordance with an established plan of care.
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation and feeding).
- Ability to continually assesses, anticipates, identifies, and responds to new and changing needs of patients.
- Ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service
- Ability to efficiently arrange and perform a wide range of tasks
- Ability to work under the pressure of a large and busy environment
- Ability to perform delegated tasks alone with mínimal supervision.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Criminal Background Check
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved programs
- RN/RPN Student who with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid Certified
- Reliable, Flexible and Professional with positive attitude.
- Proof of 2nd dose of covid-19 vaccination
- Possess good teamwork, problem solving and written/verbal communication skills;
- Ability to respond to a flexible work schedule involving shifts and/or emergency staffing needs in the residence and/or emergency needs of the clients in care.

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- PSW Certificate (required)
- VSC within 6months (preferred)
