**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist the head chef in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in bartending duties as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
- Proficiency in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
