We are seeking an Assistant Manager to work at both locations.

Job Overview

Under the direction of the owners, you are primarily responsible for greeting customers and providing assistance with their purchase. Staff understand their role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all customers. Staff will generate sales, advise customers on the use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products and accessories. This role will participate in merchandising, inventory counts and promotional activities. The Budtender must always maintain a high level of customer service.

- AGCO Cansell required
- Clear criminal background check
- Retail management experience required
- Knowledge of Cannabis
- Responsible for ensuring that all shifts are covered by staff
- Responsible for accurate inventory reporting
- management of social media presence
- Assist with staff scheduling
- Assist with product ordering and receiving
- Manage all day to day retail operation requirements
- Maintain store compliance with all AGCO requirements
- Experience in cannabis retail sales preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Motivated and creative team player
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide guidance as to where product is located throughout the store.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and make suggestions based on what the customer is looking for.
- Generate sales.
- Advise customers on the use and care of various accessories.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Assist with setting up displays.
- Work in partnership with the store owner/managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
- Assist in keeping the sales floor clean and well-maintained.
- Maintain a professional appearance, and a positive attitude at all times.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education, Training & Experience
- Experience in the cannabis or retail industry preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Provincial CannSell Certification.

Working Conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Overtime as required.
- Ability to work alone
- Must be 19+
