Excavator Operator

We are currently looking for and experienced excavator operator.

The operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, mainly excavator, and other heavy equipment such as front end loaders, tractor backhoe, dozer and compact equipment, trucks and other pieces of equipment while maintaining a safe workplace, maximizing production.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- operate heavy equipment safely, effectively and efficiently to meet site requirements.
- perform regular inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
- participate in the company safety program
- complete and submit daily all necessary paperwork. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections. Hours of service. etc.
- knowledge and experience (2years) in operation of excavators, front end loaders, dozers, graders, and other compact construction equipment
- must be able to work with little supervision, must be self-directed and be willing to work overtime hours
- valid class 3 or class 1 driver's license an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
