As a Manager, Project Management Office, you will be responsible for leading a team that is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the completion of business projects within the Grain division. Part of the responsibility is to develop and promote organization standards, governance and policies around Project Management.

The projects will focus on business processes, creating efficiencies, software selections and implementation and various other change management projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget and within scope.

**Your day-to-day activities will include**:
Manage multiple projects using up to date project methodologies and best practices;
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
Providing technological strategy for future company planning;
Report and communicate regularly with Steering Committees and Project Sponsors on project status, timelines and budgets;
Develop cost estimates and budget for project plans and execute on project plan deliverables;
Provide Direction and assistance to Subject Matter Experts, Working Group members and Business Analyst on projects;
Evaluate customer satisfaction and overall success of the project;
Company forecasting and project prioritization;
Provide leadership and guidance to members of the PMO team;
Establish work priorities, schedules and monitoring quality of work of the PMO team.

Post secondary education in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience;
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards;
Minimum 5 years experience in PM role managing the delivery of between 2-6 medium complexity projects;
Minimum 2+ years experience working on IT related projects and enabling technologies;
Ability to operate with high degree of autonomy, influence and effectiveness;
Understanding of Organization Change Management fundamentals;
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to all groups
Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
Agricultural industry knowledge considered an asset;
Some travel is required.
