We are looking to hire a Junior Planner to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of the organization.

**Responsibilities**:
The Junior Planner will research provincial and municipal policies and municipal by-laws including zoning by-laws and other local regulations. The Junior Planner will also be called upon on occasion to represent the client at community meetings and/or public meetings.
- University degree in urban planning, geography or equivalent preferred but not required
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the Planning field preferred but not required.
- Ability to attend public meetings and open house in the evening, as required
- Ability to perform tasks independently.
- Class G driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
- Interaction with clients, consultants and municipal staff on a variety of projects.
- Assist in the daily activities of numerous files with other staff members.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for City/Town Council hearings.

Willing to train junior planner with limited experience.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
