This position is available for FULL TIME, PART TIME or CASUAL

**As a Roll Off / Bin Truck Driver you would**:

- Deliver and haul material while driving a Bin Truck - Highway, rural and city driving while representing Contain-A-Way
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections
- Maintain daily logs as required, perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded to ensure safety and road worthiness
- Deliver bins to customers in an efficient and effective manner
- Loading, securing and transporting various types of materials
- Operate equipment in a manner as not to cause damage to the equipment or any surrounding structures or impediments and to do so safely to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
- Maintain equipment and promptly report any maintenance issues
- Comply with all safe working procedures and practices
- Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other drivers using phone and radio
- Utilize computer tablet to access route assignments and documentation
- Be self motivated with the ability to work independently as part of a team
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Abilities**:

- **A Valid Class 1 Drivers License**:

- 2 years experience operating a Bin Truck locally on Vancouver Island is preferred
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, and occupational health & safety
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch in a professional and respectful manner
- Valid Asbestos Awareness - Level 1 (Foundational Awareness) is an asset
- Ability to operate manual transmission required
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work outside in all weather
- Ability to push, pull, lift up to 23kg (50lbs)
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to stand, walk on varied terrain
- Ability to kneel, bend, stretch
- Weekend availability preferred

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
