Wildflowers Forest School is currently recruiting for a Forest School Educator position. Contract begins April 1st, 2025, and ends June 27th, 2025 with a possibility to extend contract. Wildflowers Forest School is inviting all those interested to apply.

We are an exclusively Outdoor School, educating children who are 18 months-13 years old. More about our school can be found at wildflowersforestschool.ca

If you are looking to connect children to nature, self, and others, through play-based, hands on learning, outdoors in nature, then we would like to hear from you.

**Contract** **Details**:

- Wednesday 9am-3:30pm
- Tuesday 12pm-2:30pm
- $19-$22 per hour

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement programs of stimulating activities, which promote the physical, social emotional and intellectual well-being of the children.
- Establish and maintain a safe and caring environment to support high quality childhood learning
- Encourage childrens' nature connection, stewardship, awareness & self sufficiency

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children outdoors
- Experience with Outdoor Education
- Dedicated and reliable
- Love of nature and the outdoors
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Records check
- Proof of up to date immunizations for TB, Tetanus and MMR
- Up to date First Aid and CPR training

**Assests**:

- Forest School Practitioner Certificate or in the process of attaining Certificate
- Teaching Degree or RECE
- Degree in Ecology or related program
- Experience working with special needs children
