The Desjardins Group Data Platform Department is part of the Data Foundation Administrative Department, which is primarily responsible for implementing capacity to support the shift to a data-driven Desjardins. The department is responsible for delivering modern data virtualization solutions that enable the secure, governed and efficient definition and real-time consumption of data products. It also provides stable, efficient and secure data visualization platforms in regulated self-service mode. To fulfill this mandate, management oversees various platforms designed to visualize and virtualize data, and provides our IT teams with the support they need to use these platforms in accordance with best industry practices—namely by ensuring they're able to consult with technical and architectural experts as needed. We are currently looking for a Cognos Analytics Platform Administrator to join our dynamic, multifunctional team. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Ensure platform stability through monitoring, support and maintenance- Be involved in updating and configuring the platform- Help resolve incidents and issues by offering solutions, coming up with action plans and assisting our business partners- Provide technical support to platform users- Keep up with best development practices and make sure our development teams know about and implement them- Contribute to knowledge sharing by writing articles for our knowledge base (Confluence)

What you bring to the table- Bachelor's degree in a related field- A minimum of four years of relevant experience- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Experience updating Cognos Analytics- Experience with the migration of Cognos reports to Power BI- Experience with incident management- Knowledge of French is required- Familiarity with modelling and creating reports (Framework Manager, Cube transformer, Report Studio, Analysis Studio and Active Reports)- Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle and SAS)- Knowledge of the business intelligence technology ecosystem- Expertise with Cognos Analytics 11- Expertise with security practices (access management, data protection, etc.)
