**Type of Employment: Full-time-Seasonal/ 270-day contract**

**Estimated Start Date: March 22, 2025**
- Assist with landscape constructions
- Tying
- Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
- Cut grass
- Rake and collect refuse
- Remove litter and garbage
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- Lay sod or seed
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease
- Write daily basic progress reports
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
- Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
- Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

**Requirements**:

- **Education: No formal education is required**:

- **Experience**: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
- **Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling**:

**Salary: $17.50 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.**

**Important Information**:
**The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. Shifts**: Monday to Friday, **6 am - 2:30 pm, 7 am - 3:30 pm.** Weekend work may be required depending on weather conditions. **Please note that we are located in a rural area.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs as required
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
