Ladybug Wine Bar is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server/Bartender
Ladybug Wine Bar is a neighbourhood wine bar, kitchen and bottle shop, offering casual and approachable wine experiences, shareable plates, and great tunes We welcome you to join us, whether it's for your first glass of wine or you’re a wine connoisseur.
Our store boasts wines from around the world, with everything from recognized and loved styles to lesser-explored regions, types, and varietals. Not into wine? Don't worry, we also have a selection of elevated cocktails, beers, cider and non-alcoholic drinks. All of which can be complemented by our menu of seasonal, shareable plates inspired by sunny places.
We also offer brunch on the weekends from 10:30 am to 3 pm
As our Server/Bartender at Ladybug Wine Bar, you will be the face of our establishment, providing top-notch service and ensuring our guests have a delightful experience
**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly and outgoing attitude.
- Prepare and serve a variety of basic cocktails.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and passion for wines, assisting guests with wine selections.
- Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and server area.
- Ensure all guests have a positive and memorable experience.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- WSET or other wine certification is an asset.
- Proven experience as a server and/or bartender.
- Strong knowledge of basic cocktail recipes.
- Passion for wines with a desire to expand wine knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 44 per week
