**Overview**:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have skills, energy, and a desire to create positive change? Join us as a Summer Youth Worker at Carolad Foundation You’ll play a key role in supporting children and youth, guiding them through their personal and social development while having a blast along the way You’ll work with kids from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, and help foster a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to develop leadership and mentoring skills that will stay with you forever

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Plan and lead fun, educational programs** that meet the needs of youth, keeping it interactive and exciting
- **Be a mentor and role model** for youth, providing guidance in schools, community centers, or recreational settings.
- **Create a welcoming, safe space** where everyone feels valued and respected, no matter their background or abilities.
- **Team up with parents, guardians, and professionals** to create support plans for each youth, ensuring they get the help they need.
- **Track progress** and offer feedback, adjusting activities and programs to meet everyone’s needs.
- **Lead group activities** that teach teamwork, communication, and personal growth.
- **Advocate for youth with disabilities**, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they deserve.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Ages 15-30**:

- **Transferable skills**: Whether you have experience in a specific field or have gained soft skills like communication, teamwork, or problem-solving, we want you to bring what you’ve got
- **Multilingual**? That’s a bonus, but not a requirement We love diversity.
- **Ability to work with mínimal supervision**: You should be independent, but ready to collaborate and ask for support when needed.
- **Internet and computer access**: For communication and reporting.
- **Clean criminal record**: All applicants will be required to provide a clear police background check.
- **Experience with youth**: Whether through volunteer work, school programs, or simply helping with younger siblings, if you’ve worked with children, we want to hear from you.
- **A passion for helping others**: We’re looking for someone who loves working with kids and wants to make a positive impact.
- **Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen**: This role is open to individuals who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.

**Work Hours**:

- **15 hours per week**:

- **Hybrid work environment**: Flexibility to work both remotely and in person
- **Pay**: $15/hour
