**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. **THIS PERSON WILL BE IN CHARGE OF MORNING SHIFTS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY THAT WILL START AT 6:15AM**. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and fun environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will engage with the dogs, ensuring they receive the attention and care they need while also maintaining a clean and organized space. This position requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

**Duties**
- Responsible for OPENING the daycare every morning (shifts would be 6:15am to 12:15pm or 2:15pm)
- Supervise and interact with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide basic care for the dogs, including feeding/watering, administering medication, and cleaning up after them.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
- Assist in managing daily operations of the daycare, including scheduling / checking dogs in and organizing playtime activities.
- Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management promptly.
- Assist the groomer with bathing, blow drying, and the tidying of dogs.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds) when handling large dogs or moving equipment.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
