Forklift Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload incoming and outgoing lumber orders
- Stage and build lumber packages
- Keep yard clean of debris and well organized
- Rotate stock
- Complete delivery shipping list and all required paperwork for product
- Assist others as instructed by supervisor
- Report any unauthorized persons or suspicious activity to the supervisor or other senior management team member
- Conduct daily check of forklift to ensure safe operation and report any required maintenance or damage to Shipping Manager daily
- Maintain a clean forklift inside and out
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be highly organized, with superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Professional, positive attitude
- Ability to operate yard equipment
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Knowledge of building materials
- Knowledge of picking orders, loading and unloading
- Ability to operate yard equipment
- A team player with a strong desire to succeed
- Scheduling flexibility including a willingness to work overtime considered an asset

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
