**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload garbage, recyclables, and other waste materials into collection trucks.
- Assist the driver in navigating routes and ensuring timely waste collection.
- Follow proper disposal procedures and safety guidelines.
- Operate waste management tools and equipment safely.
- Work in a team to complete assigned collection routes efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of waste collection vehicles and tools.
- Report any hazardous waste or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Provide courteous service to residents and businesses during collections.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Prior experience in waste collection or a similar field is an asset but not required.
- Valid driver's license (if required for the position).

**Work Conditions**:

- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Early morning shifts and possible overtime.
- Physically demanding tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long hours.

**Compensation**: $21/hour

**Shift Details**:

- **Start Time**: 6:00 AM
- **Average Shift Length**: 10-12 hours per day
